Lustre is a lighting studio built around one idea: light fixtures should be objects worth noticing, not an afterthought.

We curate and select every piece in our collection for its materials, proportions, and craftsmanship — from hand-finished alabaster sconces to statement chandeliers — and work with a network of manufacturers and artisans to bring each design to life.

What we look for

Every fixture we add to the catalog is judged against the same short list: does the material feel good in person, does the silhouette hold up in a real room (not just a studio photo), and is it built to be lived with for years rather than replaced in a season. Pieces that don't clear that bar don't make the cut.

Materials we love

Our collection leans heavily on natural and hand-finished materials: carved alabaster, brushed and antiqued brass, travertine and marble, rattan and cane, and mouth-blown glass. These materials age well, catch light differently than anything synthetic, and are part of why our pieces read as considered rather than mass-produced.

Quality & craftsmanship

Because so many of our pieces are hand-finished or made to order, no two are perfectly identical — small variations in veining, grain, or patina are part of the material, not a flaw.
