The 177" cord plugs into any standard outlet, and the included ceiling hooks let you route the cord from the pendant's hanging position across to the wall. The inline switch on the cord controls power. Most installations take 10–15 minutes.
Is the cord long enough for my room? +
The cord is 177" long — about 4.5 meters or 14.7 feet — which gives plenty of distance to drop from the ceiling, swag across to a wall outlet, and have slack to spare. It works in nearly any standard residential room. For very large open spaces, measure the diagonal distance from your desired pendant location to the nearest outlet before ordering.
What bulb does it take? +
One G9 LED bulb (not included). G9 is a small bi-pin base, common in compact decorative fixtures. We recommend a dimmable G9 LED up to 5W in warm white (3000K) for the best soft-glow effect through the frosted glass orb.
Is it dimmable? +
The fixture itself doesn't dim, but it becomes dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a plug-in dimmer module (sold separately). Wall dimmers don't apply to plug-in fixtures.
Is it good for renters? +
Yes — because it's plug-in and uses small ceiling hooks (rather than hardwiring), this pendant is well-suited to rental apartments where modifying the electrical system isn't allowed. The ceiling hooks leave only minor holes that are easy to patch on move-out.

Materials and care
Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.
Styling tips
Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
