Brass · Crystal · Cage Silhouette
A wall sconce shaped like a piece of fine jewelry. A teardrop brass cage hangs from a squared bracket, cradling a clear crystal sphere at its center. Light passes through the cage and refracts off the crystal — the effect is small, deliberate, and precisely detailed.
Equally at home above a mirror, beside a console table, or installed as a pair flanking a fireplace or doorway. The compact 18 cm cage diameter and 47 cm total height make it easy to layer into existing decor without overwhelming the wall.
Features
Brass Cage Frame
Teardrop cage hand-formed in brass — open silhouette lets light spread freely.
Crystal Sphere
Clear cut-crystal ball suspended at the cage's center — refracts light into the room.
GU10 Socket
Compact GU10 spotlight bulb sits above the crystal — focused beam, easy to swap.
Material Combination
Brushed Brass · Clear Crystal
Warm brushed-brass cage with a clear cut-crystal sphere. A jewelry-inspired pairing that suits classic, transitional, and Hollywood-glam interiors — particularly above mirrors, vanities, and console tables.

FAQ
What bulb does it take? +
A single GU10 spotlight bulb (not included). We recommend a dimmable LED GU10 up to 7W in warm white (3000K). GU10 is the standard twist-lock spotlight base — widely available.
Can I buy a pair? +
Yes — this sconce is often installed in pairs flanking a mirror, doorway, or fireplace. Just order two units. For larger orders or matched-batch requests, contact us first so we can verify finish consistency across units.
Is it dimmable? +
The fixture itself doesn't dim, but it becomes dimmable when paired with a dimmable GU10 LED bulb and a TRIAC-compatible wall dimmer (both sold separately).
Is the crystal real? +
Yes — the sphere is cut crystal glass, not acrylic. It refracts and scatters light from the GU10 bulb above, which is part of what gives the sconce its jewel-like quality.
Product features
Product features
- Hand-finished in natural materials — alabaster, marble, brass, and blown glass — so slight variation in veining, grain, or patina between pieces is normal and expected.
- Hardwired or plug-in per listing; check the individual product page for the exact wiring type and included cord length.
- Compatible with standard dimmer switches unless the listing notes otherwise.
- Bulb base type (e.g. E12, E26) is listed on each product page; bulbs are not included unless stated.
- Select pieces are made to order — see the product page for current lead time before ordering.
Materials and care
Materials and care
- Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
- Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
- Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
- Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
- Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
- Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.
Styling tips
Styling tips
- Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
- Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
- Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
- Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
- Pairing with a dimmer switch gives you more control over ambiance in living and dining spaces.
