Baroque · Iron · Hand-Finished Glass
The Braeden Pendant borrows from the ornate spirit of seventeenth-century European salons — where candlelight moved slowly through glass and metal in quiet conversation. The form is unmistakably Baroque: sculpted iron armatures, clear glass cups, and a warm matte gold that honours the era without mimicking it. A statement piece built for tall ceilings, long dinners, and rooms that deserve a centrepiece.

FAQ
Can the chain be shortened? +
Yes. The 39.4″ (100 cm) hanging chain can be trimmed to achieve your preferred drop length. We recommend your electrician adjust both the chain and the internal wiring during installation.
Is it sloped-ceiling compatible? +
Yes — the canopy and mounting hardware accommodate sloped and cathedral ceilings. No additional adapter is required.
How many bulbs does it take, and which do you recommend? +
The fixture holds three bulbs in E12 or E14 candelabra sockets. We recommend warm white (2700K) dimmable LED bulbs at 4–6W each. Clear or vintage filament-style bulbs show beautifully through the glass.
Is it dimmable? +
Yes, the fixture supports dimming when installed with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible TRIAC dimmer switch.
Which size should I choose? +
The small (∅ 13.8″) suits standard dining tables, entryways, or bedrooms with 8–9 ft ceilings. The large (∅ 16.5″) is better suited to larger dining tables, stairwells, or double-height spaces where you want a stronger focal point.
Will the finish vary between units? +
Slight variations in the hand-applied matte gold paint and electroplated accents are normal and expected. These subtle differences are part of the craft and make each fixture distinct.
How do I clean it? +
Dust the iron body and glass cups gently with a soft dry cloth. For the glass, a lint-free cloth with a touch of glass cleaner is safe. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents on the painted and plated finishes.

Materials and care
Materials and care
- Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
- Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
- Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
- Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
- Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
- Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.
Styling tips
Styling tips
- Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
- Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
- Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
- Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
- Pairing with a dimmer switch gives you more control over ambiance in living and dining spaces.
