The Cadence Alabaster Semi-Flush Mount pairs a metal body with a natural alabaster shade, giving compact ceilings a soft stone glow with a clean vintage-modern look. It works well as a hallway ceiling light, balcony light, entryway semi-flush mount, or bathroom ceiling fixture, fitting organic modern, transitional, minimalist, and warm American home decor.

Installation

  • Hardwired wall installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
  • Fits a standard single-gang wall box. All mounting hardware is included.

Product features

  • Hand-finished in natural materials — alabaster, marble, brass, and blown glass — so slight variation in veining, grain, or patina between pieces is normal and expected.
  • Hardwired or plug-in per listing; check the individual product page for the exact wiring type and included cord length.
  • Compatible with standard dimmer switches unless the listing notes otherwise.
  • Bulb base type (e.g. E12, E26) is listed on each product page; bulbs are not included unless stated.
  • Select pieces are made to order — see the product page for current lead time before ordering.

Materials and care

  • Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
  • Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
  • Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
  • Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
  • Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
  • Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.

Styling tips

  • Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
  • Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
  • Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
  • Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
  • Pairing with a dimmer switch gives you more control over ambiance in living and dining spaces.
