The Calvora Travertine Wall Sconce combines a round natural travertine backplate with a frosted glass globe, creating soft ambient light with a simple stone-and-glass profile. The natural pores and tonal variation of the travertine add texture while the glass shade helps reduce glare for comfortable everyday lighting. This travertine wall light works well as bedroom lighting, a bathroom wall sconce, hallway light, entryway accent, or living room wall fixture. Installation

Product features

  • Hand-finished in natural materials — alabaster, marble, brass, and blown glass — so slight variation in veining, grain, or patina between pieces is normal and expected.
  • Hardwired or plug-in per listing; check the individual product page for the exact wiring type and included cord length.
  • Compatible with standard dimmer switches unless the listing notes otherwise.

Materials and care

  • Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
  • Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
  • Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
  • Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
  • Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
  • Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.

Styling tips

  • Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
  • Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
  • Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
  • Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
