The Carvienne Pendant Lamp uses a carved wood frame and exposed bulb to create a warm, open lantern-style look with clear handcrafted detail. Its weathered wood finish suits rustic farmhouse, modern cottage, French country, and transitional American interiors. This wooden pendant light works well as bedside hanging lighting, a kitchen island pendant, a small dining room fixture, or an entryway ceiling light. The open frame allows light to spread naturally without a heavy shade or enclosed diffuser. Use one fixture in a compact space or install several above a long kitchen island or dining table.   • Hand-finished in natural materials — alabaster, marble, brass, and blown glass — so slight variation in veining, grain, or patina between pieces is normal and expected.

Materials and care

  • Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
  • Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
  • Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
  • Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
  • Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
  • Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.

Styling tips

  • Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
  • Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
  • Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
  • Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
