Sunflower Medallion · Dual Candle Arms · Linen Shades
A double wall sconce centered on a cast sunflower medallion — its layered petals radiate outward to anchor two graceful curved arms that hold tapered linen shades on either side. The sunflower detail is the design's quiet focal point, lending a botanical, French-country character to an otherwise classical silhouette.
The natural linen shades diffuse the candelabra bulbs into a soft, glare-free wash — bright enough for a hallway or living room, gentle enough for a bedroom or reading corner. Available in two metal finishes.
Features
Cast Sunflower Medallion
Layered petals radiate from a central boss — a sculptural focal point at the wall.
Dual Curved Arms
Two graceful candle arms emerge from the medallion to hold tapered linen shades.
Natural Linen Shades
Tapered fabric drums diffuse light into a soft, even wash — warm and unfussy.
Finish Options — Choose at Checkout
Antique Brass
Hand-aged warm brass with darker recesses in the medallion's carving — pairs with cream walls, oak, French country, and traditional interiors. The aging brings out the sunflower's depth.
Nickel
Brushed nickel with subtle tonal variation — quieter and more contemporary, lets the sunflower geometry read as architecture rather than ornament. Pairs with white walls and modern interiors.

FAQ
What bulb does it take? +
Each of the two arms takes one E14 candelabra base bulb — the smaller socket size used in chandeliers and candle-style fixtures, not standard E26/E27. Up to 25W per socket. We recommend warm white (3000K) LED candelabra bulbs for the most flattering glow through the linen. Bulbs not included.
Can I order it as a pair? +
Yes — this sconce is often installed in pairs flanking a fireplace, doorway, or large mirror. Just order two units. For matched-batch finish consistency on larger orders, contact us first.
Is the shade replaceable? +
The natural linen drum shades are replaceable as service parts. If a shade is damaged or you want to refresh after several years, contact us for replacements. The shades fit onto the candle stems via a standard internal frame.
Will the linen shades yellow over time? +
The linen is treated for indoor use and engineered to retain its color across the fixture's service life. Use LED bulbs (which produce minimal heat) and avoid leaving high-wattage incandescent bulbs running for extended periods — heat is the main cause of fabric yellowing on drum shades.
Is it dimmable? +
The fixture itself doesn't dim, but it becomes fully dimmable when paired with dimmable LED candelabra bulbs and a standard TRIAC wall dimmer (both sold separately).
Product features
Product features
- Hand-finished in natural materials — alabaster, marble, brass, and blown glass — so slight variation in veining, grain, or patina between pieces is normal and expected.
- Hardwired or plug-in per listing; check the individual product page for the exact wiring type and included cord length.
- Compatible with standard dimmer switches unless the listing notes otherwise.
- Bulb base type (e.g. E12, E26) is listed on each product page; bulbs are not included unless stated.
- Select pieces are made to order — see the product page for current lead time before ordering.
Materials and care
Materials and care
- Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
- Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
- Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
- Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
- Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
- Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.
Styling tips
Styling tips
- Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
- Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
- Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
- Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
- Pairing with a dimmer switch gives you more control over ambiance in living and dining spaces.
