FAQ
Why can't I use incandescent or halogen bulbs? +
The alabaster shade encloses the bulb in a small chamber with limited airflow. Incandescent and halogen bulbs generate significant heat, which will cause permanent discoloration of the brass finish and can crack or damage the natural alabaster. LED bulbs run cool and are safe for the fixture.
Which LED bulb do you recommend? +
A warm white (2700K) G9 LED bulb at 3–5W gives the most flattering, candlelit glow through the alabaster. Choose a frosted or opal finish over clear for the softest light. Never exceed 40W equivalent.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
Yes, when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a compatible TRIAC dimmer switch (e.g. Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora). Confirm bulb compatibility with your chosen dimmer before installation.
Will the alabaster veining vary between units? +
Yes. Every alabaster shade is cut from natural stone, so veining patterns, translucency, and subtle color tones will differ between units. This natural variation is part of the material's character, not a defect.
How long is the production lead time? +
The Harlin is made to order. Production takes approximately 25 days from confirmed order, before shipping. Lead times are estimates and may vary during peak seasons.
Can I order 1-head and 2-head versions to match? +
Yes — both configurations are available in all three metal finishes. Order the same finish for a coordinated pair, for example flanking a bed or framing a hallway.
Hand-finished in natural materials — alabaster, marble, brass, and blown glass — so slight variation in veining, grain, or patina between pieces is normal and expected.

Materials and care
Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.
Styling tips
Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
