Bulb not included. This lamp requires a G9 bi-pin base bulb, 60W maximum. For dimming, pair a dimmable G9 LED bulb with a compatible dimmer switch. We recommend a warm white (2700K) 4–6W LED for the most flattering glow through the white glass shade.
Installation
- Hardwired wall installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Fits a standard single-gang wall box. All mounting hardware is included.
- Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and TRIAC-compatible dimmer switch (e.g. Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora).
- Handle the onyx body with care during installation — natural stone can chip if dropped or knocked against hard surfaces.
FAQ
Will my lamp look exactly like the photos? +
Not exactly — and that's intentional. Each onyx body is cut from natural stone, so veining patterns, color saturation, and translucency vary between units. The photos show a representative example; your piece will share the same character but have its own unique markings.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
Yes. Install a dimmable G9 LED bulb (sold separately) and a TRIAC-compatible wall dimmer. The lamp itself supports dimming down to a warm, low-level glow.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
A warm white (2700K) dimmable G9 LED bulb at 4–6W gives the softest light through the glass. Avoid cool-white or daylight bulbs, which produce a harsher tone and flatten the onyx's natural warmth.
Can I order multiple lamps with the same onyx pattern? +
Because onyx is a natural material, we can't guarantee identical patterns across multiple units. If you're ordering a pair or set, we'll do our best to pick visually complementary pieces — please leave a note at checkout.
How do I clean the onyx and glass shade? +
Wipe the onyx body with a soft, dry cloth. For the white glass shade, use a slightly damp microfibre cloth and dry immediately — avoid harsh chemical cleaners, which can dull both surfaces over time.
Does the glass shade get very hot? +
With an LED bulb at 4–6W, the glass stays gently warm to the touch. If you use a traditional halogen G9 bulb, the glass will get hot — allow it to cool before handling. We strongly recommend LED.

Materials and care
Materials and care
- Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
- Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
- Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
- Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
- Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
- Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.
Styling tips
Styling tips
- Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
- Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
- Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
- Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
- Pairing with a dimmer switch gives you more control over ambiance in living and dining spaces.
