The brass finish looks different under different lighting
Solid brass is naturally more reflective than studio photography shows. Under real indoor or natural light, the finish is brighter and more vivid than product photos convey. This is a property of the material, not a colour discrepancy. Watch the video above to see the fixture under real lighting before ordering.
Wiring runs along the back of the fixture — not inside a channel
The body is a single solid cast — there is no hollow channel for internal wiring. The cord runs along the back surface between wall plate and arms. If installing against a mirror or reflective surface, rear wiring will be visible. Plan a wire cover or in-wall conduit before installation.
Not suitable for damp or outdoor locations
Dry indoor use only. Not for bathrooms or damp locations.

- Hardwired installation — a licensed electrician is strongly recommended.
- Fits a standard single-gang electrical box. All mounting hardware included.
- Cord routes along the back of the fixture — plan wire concealment if mounting against mirrors or reflective walls.

Why does the brass look brighter in person than in the photos? +
Studio photography uses cool-spectrum lighting that reduces glare. Real solid brass is more reflective — under natural or warm indoor light it glows vividly. This is a material property, not a colour discrepancy. Watch the product video above before ordering.
Can the wiring be hidden or run inside the fixture? +
No. The body is a single solid cast — there is no channel for internal wiring. The cord runs along the back surface. For mirror or reflective wall installations, plan an in-wall conduit or wire cover with your electrician before fitting.
What is the lost-wax casting method? +
A wax model is encased in ceramic, then melted out — leaving a cavity that is filled with molten brass. Each cast is unique and cannot be replicated by machine, giving the fixture its exceptional relief detail.
Will the finish change over time? +
Yes. Natural brass develops a living patina — deeper tones in high-contact areas, original lustre in protected areas. Clean with a dry cloth to slow patina, or apply a thin clear lacquer to preserve as-received appearance.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
Warm white (2700K) dimmable LED, 4–6W, E12 or E14 base. A flame-tip style complements the candle aesthetic. Avoid cool-white — it flattens the brass tone.
Is this suitable for a mirror wall installation? +
Yes, but rear wiring will reflect in the mirror if exposed. Route wiring inside the wall via conduit and use a flush wall plate. Consult your electrician before fitting.
Product features
Product features
- Hand-finished in natural materials — alabaster, marble, brass, and blown glass — so slight variation in veining, grain, or patina between pieces is normal and expected.
- Hardwired or plug-in per listing; check the individual product page for the exact wiring type and included cord length.
- Compatible with standard dimmer switches unless the listing notes otherwise.
- Bulb base type (e.g. E12, E26) is listed on each product page; bulbs are not included unless stated.
- Select pieces are made to order — see the product page for current lead time before ordering.
Materials and care
Materials and care
- Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
- Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
- Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
- Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
- Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
- Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.
Styling tips
Styling tips
- Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
- Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
- Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
- Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
- Pairing with a dimmer switch gives you more control over ambiance in living and dining spaces.
