The Selene Floating Pendant Lamp is composed of sculpted metal petals threaded onto a
single vertical rod — floating, off-center, like leaves caught mid-fall around a quiet
stem. Each petal is pressed and curved by hand; together they form a kinetic-feeling
silhouette that reads differently from every angle.
The integrated LED is positioned to wash light across the inner surfaces of the petals,
so each layer glows from within while casting soft shadows on the layer below.
Available in five configurations — 2, 3, or 4 stacked petal layers — and two finishes.

Suspension rods scale with layer count. The 3- and 4-layer
configurations ship with three rod sections (11.8" + 7.9" + 15.7") that combine to a
maximum 35.4" total drop. The 2-layer configurations use a fixed shorter rod. All rods
can be shortened on installation.

Each pendant ships partially disassembled to protect the petal shades during transit.

The 2-layer is a clean, focused statement — works for compact dining tables, foyers,
or beside-bed pendants. The 3-layer adds asymmetric depth — better for medium dining
rooms and living areas where you want sculptural presence. The 4-layer is the largest
statement piece — for stairwells, double-height foyers, or rooms with high ceilings
where the full vertical drop reads.
Are the petals fragile? +
The petals are pressed aluminum — lightweight but not fragile. Handle with care
during installation; avoid bending or impacting the leading edges. Once installed,
they're stable and require no special maintenance beyond occasional dusting.
Is it dimmable? +
Yes — the integrated LED is TRIAC-dimmable. Pair it with any standard TRIAC wall
dimmer (sold separately) for full brightness control. The color warms further toward
candlelight as you lower the brightness, mimicking the soft dimming of an incandescent
bulb.
Can I get a different color temperature? +
The standard version ships in warm white (3000K), ideal for residential living and
dining. If you need neutral white (4000K) or daylight (5000K), please contact us
before ordering — custom CT options are available on request.
Product features
Hand-finished in natural materials — alabaster, marble, brass, and blown glass — so slight variation in veining, grain, or patina between pieces is normal and expected.

Materials and care
Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.
Styling tips
Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
Pairing with a dimmer switch gives you more control over ambiance in living and dining spaces.
