Bringing archaeological interest to lighting, the Toam sconce is inspired by the semi-precious stones found on statues in the ancient city of Persepolis. A slab of marble is pierced by a finely fluted brass pin, affixed to a bound brass structure — as elegant as a pair of earrings, and twice as impactful when hung as a pair.

Deep charcoal stone with subtle mineral veining.
Pure white marble threaded with soft grey veins.
Rich walnut-toned stone — earthy, grounded, warm.
Moody forest-green marble with natural depth.
Each piece is one of a kind. Marble is a natural material — veining pattern, grain direction, and tonal depth will vary from unit to unit. Your piece will not exactly match the product photograph, and that variation is part of the design.
Hand-finished brass body and finely fluted pin. Develops a subtle patina over time.
Cut and pierced by hand. Four stone colourways, each with unique veining.
Silhouette drawn from the jewelled statues of the ancient city. Bound brass, jewel-like presence.

Bulb not included. Requires an E26 or E27 base bulb. We recommend a warm white (2700K) dimmable LED at 4–6W for the most flattering tone against the brass and marble. Pair with a TRIAC-compatible dimmer for adjustable ambience.
- Hardwired wall installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Fits a standard single-gang wall box. All mounting hardware is included.
- Handle the marble accessory with care during install — natural stone can chip at the edges.
- For a paired arrangement, mount both sconces at equal centre height and space 60–90 cm apart.
Will my marble look exactly like the photos? +
No — and that's by design. Natural marble varies in veining, grain, and tonal depth from slab to slab. Your piece will share the overall colour family shown (black, white, brown, or green) but the pattern will be unique to your unit.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
Yes. Install a dimmable bulb (E26 or E27 base) and pair with a TRIAC-compatible wall dimmer for smooth dimming.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
A warm white (2700K) dimmable LED at 4–6W in E26 or E27 base. Frosted or opal bulbs give the softest glow. Avoid daylight or cool-white bulbs, which fight the brass's warm tone.
Can I order it as a pair? +
Yes — the Toam is designed to work beautifully as a pair, flanking a mirror, bed, or artwork. Order two units of the same marble colour for a matched set, or mix colours for a more eclectic pairing.
How do I clean it? +
Dust the brass and marble with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, glass cleaner, or acidic household cleaners (vinegar, citrus) — these can etch natural stone and strip the brass finish.

Materials and care
Materials and care
- Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
- Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
- Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
- Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
- Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
- Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.
Styling tips
Styling tips
- Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
- Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
- Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
- Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
- Pairing with a dimmer switch gives you more control over ambiance in living and dining spaces.
