Zero is a flat aluminum disc pendant built around a precision acrylic lens that shapes the integrated LED output into a wide, uniform light cone — clean edges, even coverage, no hot spot at center. The lens does the optical work that in conventional fixtures is left to shade geometry or diffuser material; the result is a defined pool of light with consistent intensity across the full spread.
At 8 cm tall in the smaller size and just 10 cm in the larger, Zero sits close to the ceiling plane and reads as a pure disc from below. In white it recedes into light-painted ceilings; in black it asserts itself as a deliberate graphic element. Either way, the fixture itself disappears — what remains is the quality of the light it produces.
Features
Precision Lens Optic
Acrylic mineral lens shapes the LED output into a wide, defined cone — uniform intensity from center to edge, no hot spot.
Ultra-Slim Profile
8–10 cm body height — the fixture sits close to the ceiling plane and presents as a flat disc from below.
Aluminum Construction
Full aluminum body — lightweight, durable, and consistent in finish. No visual noise: pure form, zero ornament.
Size — Choose at Checkout
Suits kitchen counters, bedside tables, reading chairs, and compact dining areas up to 80–90 cm across.
Suits standard dining tables (120–160 cm), kitchen islands, and living room task areas where broader coverage is needed.
Color — Choose at Checkout
White
Blends with white and light-painted ceilings — the fixture recedes and the light cone becomes the only visible element. The cleaner, less assertive choice.
Black
Reads as a deliberate graphic disc against light ceilings — the fixture itself becomes part of the composition. The more architecturally assertive choice.
Integrated LED is non-replaceable. The LED is sealed into the lens assembly and is not field-serviceable. Rated for 30,000+ hours under normal use — at 6 hours per day, approximately 13 years before significant lumen depreciation. Contact us if a service issue arises outside this range.

FAQ
What does the lens optic actually do? +
The acrylic precision lens refracts and redistributes the LED output into a wide, uniform cone. In a standard pendant without a lens, the LED produces a concentrated bright spot at center that falls off toward the edges. Zero's lens spreads the output evenly across the full cone angle — the light coverage is consistent from center to edge with no hot spot or uneven patch. This makes it especially useful over work surfaces and dining tables where even illumination matters.
Which size is right for my space? +
The Small (∅ 37 cm) suits compact surfaces — a 2-seat kitchen counter, a bedside table, a single desk, or a small round dining table up to 90 cm. The Large (∅ 55 cm) covers a standard 4–6 seat dining table (120–160 cm long) or a kitchen island. For a long rectangular table, two Small pendants hung in a row spaced 50–60 cm apart can also work well as an alternative to one Large.
White or Black — which should I choose? +
White is the more neutral option — on a white or light ceiling the fixture nearly disappears, leaving only the pool of light. Best when you want the lighting effect rather than the fixture to be the focus. Black is a deliberate design choice — the dark disc reads clearly against a light ceiling and becomes a graphic element in the room, even when unlit. Choose black when the fixture is meant to be seen as well as used.
Is it dimmable? +
The standard version is non-dimmable and will not work with TRIAC wall dimmer switches. If dimming is required for your installation, contact us before ordering — a dimmable version with TRIAC compatibility is available as a custom build. Specify your dimmer brand if possible so we can confirm compatibility.
Product features
Product features
- Hand-finished in natural materials — alabaster, marble, brass, and blown glass — so slight variation in veining, grain, or patina between pieces is normal and expected.
- Hardwired or plug-in per listing; check the individual product page for the exact wiring type and included cord length.
- Compatible with standard dimmer switches unless the listing notes otherwise.
- Bulb base type (e.g. E12, E26) is listed on each product page; bulbs are not included unless stated.
- Select pieces are made to order — see the product page for current lead time before ordering.
Materials and care
Materials and care
- Alabaster, marble & stone: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners — they can etch or stain natural stone.
- Brass & metal finishes: wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the patina.
- Fabric shades: spot clean only with a dry cloth.
- Glass: apply a mild glass cleaner to a soft cloth, not directly to the fixture.
- Always turn off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
- Keep fixtures away from direct moisture unless the listing specifies it's rated for outdoor or wet locations.
Styling tips
Styling tips
- Wall sconces: mount at 60–66″ from the floor to the center of the fixture; space paired sconces 24–30″ apart.
- Pendants: hang 30–36″ above a table or counter surface, adjusting for ceiling height.
- Chandeliers: as a general sizing guide, allow roughly 2.5–3″ of fixture width for every foot of room width.
- Warmer bulb temperatures (2700K–3000K) bring out the tone in natural materials like alabaster and brass.
- Pairing with a dimmer switch gives you more control over ambiance in living and dining spaces.
